The existing house included 4 rooms
likely to have been constructed during the 1890s. These were retained, and
their character determined the general design. The alterations and additions
included the replacement of the existing rear extension with a larger, and more
sympathetic addition, to include two new bedrooms, a living room, kitchen,
bathroom, laundry and garage. A new side entry leads to the new addition at the rear of the existing dwelling. A bedroom and bathroom were designed in the attic
space.
